Parliament was notified on February 2, 2022, that 51 projects have been granted under the Trade Infrastructure for Export Scheme (TIES)  as the end of January, with 13 of them now finished. The government will undertake this programme with the goal of aiding state and central bodies in the development of necessary facilities to support trade flows.

Financial support in the nature of grant-in-aid is granted to government entities for the establishment or renovation of export facilities, according to the program.

“The scheme has been further extended for the period 2021-22 to 2025-26 with a total outlay of Rs 360 crore. A total of 51 projects having grant components of about Rs 548 crore have been sanctioned under TIES till the end of January 2022," said Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in a reply to the Lok Sabha.
