Propolis

In recent decades, interest in bee glue as a treatment has increased again. This is due to the fact that modern scientists have established a fairly versatile effect of propolis: bacteriostatic (slows down the growth of bacteria), bactericidal (kills bacteria), fungicidal (harmful to fungi), anesthetic, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, promoting epithelization (healing) of wounds, positively affecting the specific and non-specific defenses of the body, and others. It is obvious that propolis has a wide range of effects on the body. We can safely say that it is almost universal, like all products created by bees. Now propolis is increasingly used in the form of ointments, aerosols, water-alcohol solutions, various extracts. Its therapeutic properties are very diverse, because they are due to the active action of all the substances that make up it.
