Plaster/Shears

The casts are made of plaster and are sliced through with plaster shears. They go by the name "plaster scissors" as well. It is available in multiple sizes and styles. Ortho experts use a scissor-like tool called a plaster of paris shear to cut and remove bulky plaster following bone healing, particularly from the upper or lower limbs. It has sharp edges with low wear for better cutting. It comes in overall lengths from 23.0 to 38.0 to suit all applications. The superior control is ensured by the plier grip style handle. The tool has two jointed blades with low-wear sharp edges that provide precision cutting for this use. The back blade also features a strengthened platform that confronts the skin to reduce the risk of harm.
