Soybeans(GMO, NON- GMO)

Most GMO soy are utilized in the production of soybean oil and animal feed, primarily for poultry and animals. Other substances used in processed foods include proteins, emulsifiers, and lecithin. There are currently two varieties of soybeans: GMO soybeans and non-GMO soybeans. Soybeans that have undergone genetic engineering for a particular purpose are known as GMO soybeans. Non-GMO soybeans are those that have not been genetically modified and still have their natural characteristics. The non-GMO soybean producer must put in more effort and pay closer attention to detail because non-GMO soybeans are primarily used for human consumption while the GM variety is mainly used in livestock feed.
