Products Description
Soft touch velvet thermal lamination film gives printed paper and board a distinctive peach-skin, velvety surface that is warm to the touch and completely non-reflective. It is the finish associated with premium cosmetics, luxury spirits, high-end electronics packaging and limited-edition print. The construction is a BOPP base film coated with EVA hot melt adhesive on the reverse and a soft-touch lacquer on the face. It bonds on standard thermal laminators at normal running temperatures, so no new equipment is required, and the cured surface resists scuffing, fingerprints and light moisture. Applications: luxury cosmetic boxes, perfume cartons, premium spirit and wine labels, mobile phone and accessory packaging, business cards and invitation cards, book covers, and any print where tactile differentiation justifies a small cost premium. Supplied in gloss-free velvet finish, 25 to 30 micron total thickness, in rolls from 200 m for office and digital print use up to jumbo rolls for industrial lines.
