Black pepper

One of the most frequently used spices worldwide is black pepper. The same kind of plant produces both black pepper and white pepper. They are, however, prepared differently. The unripe dried fruit is cooked to make black pepper. Cooking and drying the ripe seeds produces white pepper. Black pepper is consumed internally for the treatment of cancer, vitiligo, nausea, colic, depression, diarrhea, gas, headache, sex drive, arthritis, asthma, upset stomach, bronchitis, and upset stomach caused by a bacterial infection (cholera). Black pepper is applied topically to the skin to alleviate pain, scabies, nerve pain, measles, and itchy skin brought on by mites. Black pepper oil is inhaled to treat difficulty swallowing, to aid in quitting smoking, and to avoid falls.
