The device includes a built-in web server with web-socket capability, virtual serial port software (USR-VCOM), and can be configured via webpage or setup software. It operates from -40 °C to 85 °C on a 5–36 V DC terminal supply, features 2 kV ESD and surge protection, and carries CE, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certifications.
The Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps with auto-MDI/MDIX, each port can map to two sockets, and serial baud rates range from 600 bps to 230.4 kbps. A reload button restores factory defaults.
