Skimmed milk powder is produced from pasteurised skimmed milk by removing water by thickening and subsequent drying in spray drying plants. It is intended for direct consumption after preliminary reconstitution, industrial processing in the dairy, meat, confectionery, bakery industries, feeding farm animals, making fodder mixtures and fodder products. Shelf life of skimmed milk powder at temperature from 0 to 20C and relative air humidity not more than 85% is not more than 24 months from the date of production. Milk is packed in paper multilayer bags with polyethylene bag-insert with net weight of 25 kg each.
