Kusoom Kitchen Knife

Any knife meant for use in food preparation is considered a kitchen knife. While much of this work can be completed with a few general-purpose knives—specifically, a large chef's knife, a sturdy cleaver, a small paring knife, and something with a serrated blade (like a bread knife or serrated utility knife)—many specialized knives are made for particular jobs. A variety of materials can be used to make kitchen knives. Cutting meat, dicing vegetables, separating some cuts, slicing herbs, and chopping nuts are all tasks that may be accomplished with these knives. Cutting and carving tough foods requires the use of carving knives. Roast, fruit, and vegetable slices are cut using slicing knives. Although they can be as short as six inches and as long as 14 inches, these knives are normally between eight and ten inches long.
