EAFD (Electric Arc Furnace Dust) is a stable material which presents the following average composition: pH 12.6 Zn 16 - 21% SiO2 3.5 4.5% Pb 0.60 1% Cd Cu 0.15 0.20% As Fe 38 - 45% CaO 10 20% MgO 3 - 6 % Al2O3 Cr 0.4 0.5 % Cl 1 2 % S tot 0.5 0.7% C 1 3% The material can be delivered as follows: Packing: Big Bag Loading: 40HC container The EAFD is considered as a Hazardous Waste: as a consequence, it can be transported through the notification procedure, according to the European regulation and Basel convention.
