BFS consists primarily of silicates, aluminosilicates, and calcium-alumina-silicates. BFS forms when slagging agents (e.g., iron ore, coke ash, and limestone) are added to the iron ore to remove impurities. The average chemical composition of the material is the following: CaO 36.50% MgO 7.90% Al2O3 11.70% MnO 1.13 % K2O 0.43 % Na2O 0.22% FeO 1.71 % SiO2 38.73% TiO2 0.69% S 0.86% We have available two different lots of slag GRANULATED BLAST FURNACE SLAG The granulated blast-furnace slag is sand-type slag manufactured by spraying high-pressure water jets on a blast-furnace molten slag. We have 3,330 Ton of this material ready for shipment and it can be supplied to the domestic and the overseas markets for cement and ground granulated blast-furnace slag production. AIR COOLED BLAST-FURNACE SLAG This material is manufactured from molten blast-furnace slag by air-cooling process. The product is not crushed and screened. The material at visual inspection appears as formed by lumps of different size. It is classified has a waste with the following EWC Code: 10.02.01. We have available10,300 MT ready for shipment . The material must be crushed in accordance with the specified application and sold as materials for road base course material, rock fiber, coarse concrete aggregates and cement clinker raw materials.
