Aluminium & Copper Wire

Since they are ductile and an excellent conductor of electricity, copper and aluminum metals are utilized to make electrical lines (i.e.they can be drawn into thin wires). Due to their superior conductivity and low resistance, copper and aluminum are most frequently employed as electrical conductors in electrical cables. Because these metals are ductile and have a low corrosion rate, they may be easily formed into wires and do not deteriorate with time. Because aluminum wire has a higher conductivity-to-weight ratio than copper, it is also used to wire power grids, such as local power distribution systems, overhead power transmission lines, and the electrical systems of some airplanes.
