Spare parts and accessories

Spare parts are components that you can purchase separately to upgrade worn-out or damaged components of a piece of machinery. Usually, these are elements that can be quickly removed or installed. Further machine maintenance and spare parts will be required. A spare part is an extra component that the appliance can use to replace a missing or damaged component. A piece of extra equipment that ships with the appliance is known as an accessory (for example, a spatula that is sold with a mixer). An accessory is an extra that is sometimes required but always belongs to a main unit. Consumables are things that either run out during a procedure or are not refilled. For instance, oil, gloves, coolant, etc. The term "spares" refers to replacement parts that don't disappear from the equipment in use.
