Agree the inspection standard and sample size in advance, and agree in writing what happens if the goods fail.

Compare response quality alongside price, because it predicts how the order will run.

Bank details in a different name or country, a late change of banking details, refusal to show premises on a live call, urgency framed as a price rise or a limited allocation, unverifiable registration, and certificate numbers that cannot be checked against the issuer. A price far under the market for the specification you asked for is usually a different specification rather than a bargain. Conversely, a plain website, a small company or imperfect English are not warning signs on their own.
