A price far under the market for the specification you asked for is usually a different specification rather than a bargain. Conversely, a plain website, a small company or imperfect English are not warning signs on their own.

The trigger is not the size of one order but the cost of the relationship failing after you have committed to your own customers.

Also record the Incoterm, because it decides where risk in the goods passed from seller to buyer. Without those terms written down, a failure becomes a negotiation rather than a claim.

The second supplier is worth keeping warm even after you choose the first.
