Sintered Bushings

Sintered bushings are maintenance free journal bearings and are based on powdered metal technology. It consists of porous matrix which are impregnated with lubricating oil. The lubricating oil contained in the pores in the bearing plays the role of lubricant in the bearing. Sintered bearings have high sliding velocity and are suitable for rotating applications. Sintered Bushings are manufactured in bronze and iron material and is equivalent to oilite bushings. Sintered bushings are made in cylindrical, flanged, spherical, thrust washer and special shapes to precision tolerances.
