Sicilian Pecorino DOP is produced exclusively from whole sheep's milk with lamb rennet, cylindrical wheels 10–18 cm high weighing 8–12 kg, with a seasoned version aged at least four months and a fresh Primosale version. Caciotta cheese comes in traditional and smoked pear-shaped pieces of 550–600 g, made from cow's milk, salt and rennet, with liquid food smoke added for the smoked variant. Pistachio spreadable cream contains 28% pistachio with sugar, non-hydrogenated vegetable oils and fats (sunflower oil, palm fat), skimmed milk powder, whey powder, sunflower lecithin, vanillin flavour and salt.
