The SÜFFA is a trade fair for the national meat industry as well as for butchers and the medium-sized industry from neighboring countries. It takes place once a year in Stuttgart, but will be omitted when the IFFA, the international trade fair for the meat industry in Frankfurt am Main takes place. Exhibitors show the latest products and technologies and related services in the fields of slaughter technology, production, logistics, packaging as well as counter sales, deli, meat and sausages, merchandise, marketing, IT and disposal. The information about the origin, quality and food processing are becoming increasingly important in today's society, therefore, the fair also picks up the themes of food safety and hygiene, quality management and control. The fair is a popular industry meeting due to its balanced combination of the exhibition areas of manufacturing and sales and has with the "SÜFFAdorf" a broad array of activities with different competitions, the marketplace of ideas and a platform for trends and innovations. Highlight of the show is the awarding of the SÜFFA Innovation Award. Honoured interested parties, due to the effects of the corona virus, the fair will be postponed to this new date.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 21. October to 23. October 2017, about 8700 visitors on the SÜFFA in Stuttgart.

The 25th fair anniversary of the SÜFFA takes place on 3, Sat. in 18.09.2021
