21st Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show (DIFS) 2024 - Winter Edition

We are pleased to inform you that the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is organizing the India Pavilion at the “21st Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2024 - Winter Edition, Bangladesh”as per the following schedule:

Dates: 6 ~ 9 March 2024.

Time: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Venue: International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In the fiscal year 2022-23, Bangladesh exported garments worth US $45.62 billion, making it the second-largest apparel exporter in the world. The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers Exporters Association (BGMEA) revealed it is eyeing a 10% share of the global apparel market by 2025 and is aiming for an export target of US$100bn by 2030. Major investments in the Textile & Garment sector are happening in Bangladesh.

DIFS is a Comprehensive International Exhibition featuring Worldwide Yarn, Fabric Trims & Accessories Manufacturers, focusing o­n the entire Textile & Apparel Industry of Bangladesh.

The Dhaka Yarn & Fabric Show is the Oldest and Biggest International Exhibition of Bangladesh serving the Textile & Apparel Industry of Bangladesh for the past 20 years.

The event is approved under Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. The subsidized participation charges are:

Participation cost for FIEO Member: INR 95000 /-

Participation cost for Non-FIEO members: INR 99000/-

Please Note: This fee does not include sending display material, any additional fixtures & furniture in the booth. These are to be borne by the companies

*Two Side Open (Corner) Stall: Rs. 10000 /- extra, subject to availability.

Note:

As per DOC, a company can avail MAI assistance up to a maximum of three times (including past cases) for a particular event. Thereafter they shall not be eligible for subsidized participation.

Airfare Subsidy:

Eligible companies will be entitled for reimbursement of economy class Airfare o­n submission of documents after the completion of the event. The amount of reimbursement shall be subject to the approval and quantum of funds approved by the Ministry for the said event (Only o­ne Person Per Company i.e. o­nly to Director, Proprietor, Partner regular officer of the company o­n senior managerial Position. will be eligible for the Airfare Reimbursement). 

Visa:

FIEO will issue the visa recommendation letter to the participants (Only 2 persons per company with extensive travel history).

Refund Policy:

The participation charges are non-refundable in any case.

Interested members are requested to kindly send us their confirmation as per the Registration Form(s) enclosed along with the participation fee (Non-Refundable). The payment may be made o­nly by Cheque/Demand Draft in the name of Federation of Indian Export Organisations payable at Kolkata latest by 7th of February, 2024. It may be informed that we have limited stalls and preference will be given o­n the basis of first-cum-first- served basis and o­n receipt of full participation fee.
