Question 1

How does the classification of a Korean Silver Nano Fiber Fashion Mask change the required inspection data compared to a standard cloth mask?

Accepted Answer

A mask listed under health or protective equipment requires filtration efficiency data and bacterial filtration percentage testing. A fashion accessory listing may only list material composition like polyester or cotton. Buyers must verify if the seller provides the technical test report for the nano fiber layer, as this determines if the item is suitable for protective use rather than just cosmetic protection.

Question 2

What distinguishes a Ply Surgical Mask listing from a general disposable face covering in this directory?

Accepted Answer

The surgical mask listing must specify the number of plies and the melt-blown fabric grade used for filtration. General disposable coverings often list only the outer material and lack the internal filtration layer details. The distinction lies in the technical specification of the intermediate layer, which dictates the product's ability to filter particulates and fluids during medical procedures.

Question 3

Why does sourcing from the Industrial goods & chemical branch require different packing specifications than Apparel?

Accepted Answer

Chemical products often require UN-rated packaging to prevent leakage and ensure safety during transit. Apparel items are packed in polybags or cartons focused on protecting fabric from moisture and dust. The packing specification must match the hazard class of the goods, as chemical containers undergo rigorous pressure and drop testing that clothing packages do not.

Question 4

What specific technical parameter defines a valid quote for Electronic & Electrical listings?

Accepted Answer

A valid quote must include the voltage frequency rating and the plug type standard for the destination market. Without these parameters, the equipment may be incompatible with the local power grid. Buyers must confirm the electrical specifications match their infrastructure requirements before accepting any price quotation for electronic devices.

Question 5

How does the sub-category of Agriculture affect the phytosanitary documentation required for export?

Accepted Answer

Agricultural products require a phytosanitary certificate issued by the national plant protection organization to prove freedom from pests and diseases. Other sub-categories like Home furnishing do not need this specific health document. The certificate is mandatory for crossing borders and must detail the treatment method applied to the plant material before shipment.

Question 6

What fails after shipment if the Electronic & Electrical listing omits the IP rating?

Accepted Answer

The equipment may suffer water or dust ingress damage if installed in an environment that requires protection. The IP rating defines the seal integrity of the device casing against external elements. Without this rating in the technical data, the buyer cannot verify if the product is suitable for outdoor or industrial wet environments, leading to premature failure.

Question 7

Why is the sample against the shipped lot critical for Korean Silver Nano Fiber Fashion Mask orders?

Accepted Answer

The nano fiber layer's density and filtration capacity can vary significantly between production batches. A sample must be tested for breathability and particle retention to ensure the bulk order meets the same performance standards. Discrepancies between the sample and the final lot often result in the goods being rejected by end-users who expect consistent protective performance.
