Question 1

How does the hardware revision code on a VGA Card affect the rated specification for my display setup?

Accepted Answer

The hardware revision code identifies the specific chipset generation and power delivery design used in the VGA Card. A later revision may support higher resolutions or different power requirements that an older revision cannot handle. You must match the revision code to your system's power supply and monitor inputs to avoid compatibility failures. The seller should state the exact revision number in the listing, as this defines the physical capabilities of the card.

Question 2

Do Un-Contact Based Thermal Network Cameras require specific FCC or CE emissions marking for European entry?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any device that emits radio frequency energy or operates in the electromagnetic spectrum must carry the appropriate marking. An Un-Contact Based Thermal Network Camera is an electronic device that often includes wireless connectivity, making FCC or CE emissions marking mandatory for clearance. Without these markings, customs will reject the shipment. Verify that the listing explicitly states compliance with these standards before requesting a quote.

Question 3

What happens to the price of a Hard Disk Drive when the manufacturer announces a new model cycle?

Accepted Answer

The price of the older model drops rapidly as distributors clear stock, but the listing for that specific model becomes obsolete for new contracts. Buyers who wait for a quote may find the model is no longer in production or has been superseded by a newer version with different capacity or speed. Always confirm the current production status of the Hard Disk Drive model before finalizing a purchase agreement.

Question 4

Can I ship a Pen drive with an integrated lithium battery via air freight from South Korea?

Accepted Answer

Air carriage of lithium batteries is heavily restricted due to safety regulations. If the Pen drive contains a lithium cell, it must be declared, and specific packaging is required to prevent short circuits. Many carriers will refuse air shipment for batteries above a certain watt-hour rating, forcing sea freight instead. Check the battery specifications in the listing to determine the correct shipping method.

Question 5

Why is insurance critical for high value USB Flash Drive shipments?

Accepted Answer

USB Flash Drives are small, high-density items that are prone to loss or damage during handling. High value drives contain significant data and hardware cost relative to their size. Insurance covers the financial loss if the container is damaged or if items go missing during transit. Buyers should factor insurance premiums into the landed cost calculation for high-volume orders of these compact storage devices.

Question 6

How does the warranty term on a refurbished Cctv Streetlight differ from a new unit?

Accepted Answer

A refurbished Cctv Streetlight typically carries a shorter warranty term than a new unit, reflecting the reduced remaining lifespan of the components. The warranty terms define what parts are covered and for how long, which impacts the total cost of ownership. Buyers must compare the warranty duration and coverage limits between new and refurbished listings to assess the true value of the offer.

Question 7

What specific document format does the destination require for the RoHS compliance of a CD-ROM Writer?

Accepted Answer

The destination market may require a specific test report or a Declaration of Conformity to prove the CD-ROM Writer meets RoHS standards. This document must be issued by an accredited laboratory or the manufacturer and clearly list the compliant materials. Without this proof, the shipment may be held at customs. Ask the seller for the exact format of the RoHS documentation they provide.
