Question 1

How does a buyer decide between Garment & Fashion Accessories, Gems & Jewellery, Suitcases, Briefcases & Bags?

Accepted Answer

The decision rests on the physical nature of the item you require. Garment & Fashion Accessories covers soft goods, textiles, and wearable items. Gems & Jewellery is for hard materials like stones, metals, and set pieces. Suitcases, Briefcases & Bags contains luggage and carrying cases. Each branch demands different inspection criteria, packing methods, and supplier expertise. Mixing them in one search yields incomparable quotes and irrelevant supplier responses.

Question 2

What mistake occurs when sourcing Quartzite under Apparel and fashion accessories?

Accepted Answer

Quartzite is a natural stone, not a textile or garment. Sourcing it under this broad header leads to suppliers who cannot supply hard commodities. You will encounter listings for bedroom furniture or decorative items instead of raw stone. This mismatch wastes time because the seller lacks the necessary mining or quarrying connections. Always verify the material type before engaging with a supplier in a mixed category.

Question 3

What is particular about buying apparel from Macedonia?

Accepted Answer

Goods leave via specific border crossings or inland depots rather than major seaports. This affects transit times and the type of export documentation required. Sellers may source materials locally or import them for assembly. Clarify the origin of raw materials and the final packing location. This determines the true landed cost and the complexity of customs clearance at your destination.

Question 4

How do BEDROOM MERLI listings differ from actual apparel rows?

Accepted Answer

BEDROOM MERLI refers to furniture, likely beds or bedroom sets, not wearable apparel. Listings with such titles in this category are misfiled. They lack the fiber content, size, and material specifications required for garments. Buyers looking for textiles will find irrelevant results. You must filter out furniture listings by checking the sub-category and product description for actual garment details.

Question 5

What does a Gems & Jewellery listing leave out by habit?

Accepted Answer

Sellers often omit the exact carat weight, clarity grade, and cut precision. These details are critical for valuation and quality control. Without them, you cannot compare quotes from different suppliers. Always request a gemological report or detailed specification sheet. Relying on general descriptions leads to receiving stones that do not meet your technical requirements.

Question 6

Why do two quotes for Suitcases, Briefcases & Bags resist comparison?

Accepted Answer

Quotes may differ based on the material used, such as polycarbonate versus leather. Packing density and unit price per piece also vary significantly. One supplier might quote FOB while another quotes EXW. You must standardize the incoterms and material specifications to compare costs accurately. Ignoring these variables leads to unexpected landed costs and quality mismatches.

Question 7

What specific data is missing from a Bedroom STELA listing?

Accepted Answer

BEDROOM STELA indicates furniture, specifically beds, not apparel or accessories. The listing lacks fabric composition, size, and stitching details relevant to garments. It may include mattress specifications or frame materials instead. This misfiling creates noise in search results. Buyers should ignore furniture titles and focus on sub-categories that explicitly list textile or accessory items.
