Question 1

Does the seller file the export customs clearance in Macau or the mainland?

Accepted Answer

Most sellers operating out of Macau file their export declarations through the mainland customs system because the territory lacks a major independent port. This means the paperwork chain involves two different administrative bodies. You need to ask the seller which customs house processes their declaration, as this affects how quickly the goods can be released to the carrier. A delay in mainland clearance will stall the entire shipment, so clarifying this upfront prevents logistical bottlenecks.

Question 2

Why does a thermal transfer ribbon listing lack a specific chemical composition?

Accepted Answer

The chemical makeup of the ribbon wax or resin blend is often treated as proprietary by the manufacturer. Sellers filing from Macau may not disclose the exact solvent or polymer type unless requested. This information is critical for buyers who need to match the ribbon to a specific printer model or environmental regulation. You must ask for the technical data sheet directly, as it rarely appears in the standard listing fields.

Question 3

How does the thin inventory of pharmaceuticals like Rimonabant affect quote validity?

Accepted Answer

Pharmaceutical stocks in Macau are often held in high-security bonded warehouses with limited turnover. A price quoted today may become invalid by tomorrow if the specific batch is sold or expires. Buyers should ask for a photo of the actual batch number and the expiration date before finalizing the quote. This ensures you are not paying for stock that is already allocated to another buyer or nearing its shelf life limit.

Question 4

What distinguishes a Primerefill for Canon listing from a generic cartridge entry?

Accepted Answer

A Primerefill entry specifically denotes a refillable ink system designed for Canon printers, whereas a generic entry might be for a standard disposable cartridge. The distinction matters for compatibility and waste management. Buyers need to confirm whether the listing includes the refill kit components or just the empty cartridge shell. Misinterpreting this can lead to receiving incompatible parts that do not fit the printer's internal mechanism.

Question 5

Is the Orlistat stock subject to different storage temperature requirements than other goods?

Accepted Answer

Orlistat, like many active pharmaceutical ingredients, often requires strict temperature control during storage to maintain efficacy. Sellers in Macau may store these goods in general bonded warehouses that do not meet pharmaceutical grade standards. You must ask for the storage conditions and whether the seller provides temperature monitoring logs. Buying from a non-specialized warehouse risks degrading the product before it even leaves the territory.

Question 6

Why might a remanufactured color inkjet cartridge have a different warranty than new stock?

Accepted Answer

Remanufactured cartridges are rebuilt from used shells, so their durability varies based on the condition of the original plastic housing. Sellers from Macau may offer limited warranties that cover only the ink flow, not the structural integrity of the cartridge. Buyers should clarify whether the warranty covers leaks or print head damage. This distinction protects you from bearing the cost of printer damage caused by a faulty seal in the reused housing.
