How does the revision code change the chipset in an Epson SureColor large format printer?

The revision code identifies the specific hardware generation, which determines the print engine chipset and firmware capabilities. A newer revision often includes updated drivers or improved thermal management that older models lack. Buyers must match the revision to their existing software infrastructure to avoid connectivity failures after installation.

What happens if a large format printer lacks the required CE emissions marking?

Customs authorities in the destination country will likely seize the equipment or return it to Indonesia. The CE marking proves the electronic circuits meet specific electromagnetic interference standards. Without this marking, the seller cannot prove the device is safe for grid connection, leading to immediate rejection at the border.

Why do refurbished computer peripherals have different warranty terms than new units?

Refurbished units typically carry a limited warranty that covers only specific components rather than the entire system. New units include the manufacturer's full standard warranty covering all parts and labor. Buyers must clarify the warranty duration and scope before purchasing to understand their liability for repairs.

How do lithium battery rules affect shipping an Epson SureColor P inch model?

If the printer includes an integrated lithium battery for memory backup or wireless functions, it is classified as dangerous goods. This classification often prohibits air freight entirely, forcing the shipment to travel by sea. Buyers must plan for longer transit times and higher insurance costs due to these restrictions.

What is the difference between a new and a refurbished computer peripheral listing?

A new unit is factory sealed with original packaging and full manufacturer coverage. A refurbished unit has been returned, tested, and repackaged, often with reduced warranty terms. The physical condition and internal component lifespan can vary significantly between these two categories.

How does the rated specification impact the compatibility of computer hardware?

The rated specification defines the power consumption and voltage requirements that must match your local grid. Mismatched ratings can damage the equipment or cause it to operate inefficiently. Buyers must verify the rated input voltage and frequency before importing to ensure safe operation.

What role does import type-approval play for electronic electrical products from Indonesia?

Import type-approval is a mandatory certification in many destination countries for electronic devices. It verifies that the equipment meets local safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. Without this approval, the goods cannot be legally sold or used, leading to potential fines or confiscation.
