Turmeric Powder

Naturally farmed turmeric powder is native to India, so the ideal country to source from. Plants grow to 3 ft. height in raised soil beds, and are harvested when leaves begin to dry. In Southern India, harvesting begins around January to February 2021. The roots are boiled, steam dried, and ground to a powder over a 7-10 day process. The curcumin content is 3-4% and gives the bright golden yellow colour as well as the famous health benefits. We check the aroma of the turmeric which can be described as lively and pungent with a creamy finish. Our turmeric is trialed and approved by a MICHELIN recommended chef.
