Tungsten carbide is suitable for machining at high temperatures-- it can make cutting tools, structural materials for kiln, jet engines, gas turbines, nozzles, etc. The hardness of cobalt-based carbonized tungsten alloy powder or nickel-based carbonized tungsten alloy powder and chromium-based carbonized tungsten alloy powder sprayed by HVOF tungsten carbide coating can reach 850 degrees of high temperature of HV1200. Therefore, the valve parts are resistant to abrasive, corrosion, high temperature and oxidation. The process exceeds the processes of manual surfacing, chrome plating, carburizing, quenching and tempering, etc., so that the production efficiency can be increased by more than 2 times, the production cost can be reduced by more than 50%, and the service life can be extended by several tens of times.
