Mass production began in January 2011. The facility includes cleaning devices, damage layer etching apparatus, texture etching equipment, two phosphor glass etching units, oxide film removal equipment, ten diffusion and thermal oxidation furnaces (six for diffusion, four for thermal oxidation), three plasma CVD units (two TB type, MCXS type, without vacuum pumps), three printing drying furnaces, one printing drying firing furnace, six printing machines, three IV inspection machines, a wafer distributor with inspection capability, various conveying devices, and four laminators (two NPC-made and two Nisshinbo-made). Inspection instruments include two sheet resistance meters, two reflectance measuring devices, and two ellipsometers. Additional equipment covers a printing mask cleaning device, a quartz tube washer, assorted jigs, and a CVD exhaust gas burn-off device. Plasma etching equipment is excluded from the sale.
