SMC/SPA Series SCR SNUBBERING CAPACITOR SMC/SPA series is special designed for the filtering, over-voltage protection, and damping absorption of semi-conductors, rectifiers, and thyristors in power electronic equipment. The self-healing capacitor elements are enclosed in a cylindrical aluminum/plastic case sealed with PU resin. They are made of metallized PP film, This enables the unit to carry high peak and high inrush currents with low self-inductance and series resistance.
