Penja pepper An exceptional pepper, considered one of the best in the world, if not the best Penja pepper grows in Cameroon in an agricultural region near Douala (Penja). It is one of the best peppers in the world and has a protected geographical indication. The volcanic and fertile soil of Penja gives Penja white pepper fresh aromas of menthol and camphor. Crushed, it has a long lasting taste. In 2013, by the European Union, Penja pepper obtained the very 1st African IGP (Protected Geographical Indication). With exceptional pepper, exceptional flavor! Penja pepper has an incomparable flavor: robust, it is a pepper with a wild character, with a pronounced spiciness, an acidulous heat and a good length in the mouth.
