Diaphragm Pump: A diaphragm pump for oxygen gas uses a flexible diaphragm to generate the pumping action. Compressed air or a motor-driven mechanism causes the diaphragm to move back and forth, creating suction and compression cycles. When the diaphragm moves away from the pumping chamber, it creates a vacuum that draws in oxygen gas. As the diaphragm moves towards the pumping chamber, it compresses the gas and expels it through the outlet. In both types of pumps, it is crucial to ensure the materials used in their construction are compatible with oxygen gas. Oxygen is a highly reactive gas and can pose a fire hazard if it comes into contact with certain substances, such as oil, grease, or flammable materials.
