The Outdoor High Voltage Drop Fuse uses (H) RW 12-27 drop fuse and pull-load drop fuse as outdoor high-voltage protective appliances assembled on the high-voltage side of distribution transformer or branch lines of distribution line for overload and short-circuit protection of transmission lines and power transformers, and for sharing rated load current. The drop fuse consists of two parts: insulating bracket and fuse pipe. Static contacts are installed at both ends of the insulating bracket, and movable contacts are installed at both ends of the fuse pipe. The fuse pipe consists of an inner arc extinguishing tube and an outer epoxy glass tube. The pull-load drop fuse adds an elastic auxiliary head and arc extinguishing cover to divide and close load current. During normal operation, the fuse pipe is tensioned by the fuse, forming a closed position. When a system fault occurs, fault current causes the fuse to fuse rapidly and form an arc. The arc extinguishing tube is heated by the arc, decomposes a large number of gases, creating high pressure that blows longitudinally along the pipeline, rapidly elongating and extinguishing the arc. After the fuse fuses, the lower moving contact loses tension and turns down. The locking mechanism releases the fuse tube, allowing it to fall down and form an obvious breaking position. When load needs to be pulled, the contact is pulled by the insulating rod, keeping active and static contacts in contact while auxiliary contacts separate, generating an arc between them that elongates in the slot of the arc extinguishing hood.
