It is made of randomly yet evenly distributed chopped strands fiber of 50mm or 100mm length stitched by polyester thread. It has high tensile strength and is recommended for Pultrusion process,Uncontinuous winding Process & Laminates. Products Property: No any Binder, good compatible with Multi-Resin Optimal mechanical performance Easy workability and low cost Standard width: 120cm/127cm/160cm Max. width 320cm, Min. width 3.5cm Standard Roll weight: 45/48/60kg Packaging: Each roll is wound on paper tube (3"-4"Dia.) with plastic film and packed in individual cardboard box. 16 or 12 cartons per Pallet. The strength of fiberglass stitched mat is stronger than CSM,the price is cheaper. We export large quantity for pipe winding.We can provide big roll to reduce your replacing frequency and save your cost.We suggest stitched mat instead of chopped strand mat for pipe application. Use in close mold applications such as RTM, VARTM, SCRIMP. Can be pultruded when layered with other materials. Stitched construction allows for pattern or die cutting. Stitch Mat will not wash out in RTM process. and can be pre-wet and moved for proper placement in wet lay-up open molding. it gives uniform thickness compared to extra spray-up in open molding. it is low cost alternative for building thickness and stiffness, where the component is not weight critical. Binderless chopped E-Glass, stitched at 7 gauge The chopped strand length is 5cm or 10cm, 10cm for pultusion to improve the strength.
