This polyester film tape (Mylar tape) is intended for Class B (130 °C) insulation wrapping of motors, transformers and cables. It uses a polyester film backing with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.

Both use 30 µm acrylic adhesive. Total thickness is 0.055 mm for the thinner version and 0.080 mm for the thicker version. Standard roll length is 50 m. Width is 965 mm. The tape is available in dark yellow, light yellow, red, blue, green, white, black and transparent. Technical data includes tensile strength ≥110 N/25 mm, elongation ≥80 %, dielectric breakdown ≥4.2 kV, 180° peeling force 7.5 N/25 mm average, and flame resistance. Storage condition is 15–30 °C, 65 % RH with a 12-month shelf life. Free samples are offered for small rolls (freight collect) and there is no minimum order quantity.
