These hot rolled steel are made by the hot rolling process involves passing the steel through a series of rollers while it is still hot, which reduces its thickness and shapes it into the desired form. The temperature is usually above 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot rolled steel is known for its strength, ductility, and toughness and its ability to be molded into any form and shape easily. It may have a rougher surface finish than cold rolled steel and may also have some residual stresses that can cause warping or distortion in the finished product.
