Granny Smith Apples, Green Apples

This variety of apples is medium to large in size and round in shape. They are firm and juicy and generally have thick skin. The flesh is said to be bright white and crisp in texture. The flavour of these apples can be described as tart, acidic, yet subtly sweet. The Pink Lady Apple has high sugars and acids and is known for the crisp bite and effervescent finish. It is more tart than sweet in flavour.
