Dimethyl Sulfide(DMS)

Dimethyl sulfide is the simplest sulfide compound. The structure and properties are similar to dimethyl ether. At room temperature, it is a colorless volatile liquid. It has a special odor substance like seafood. In nature, it is often produced by the breakdown of proteins. This is also one of the sources of the fishy smell of seafood.
