Coryne Pro (Nt70)

Single-cell protein of bacterial nature. Recognized as feed material in the European Registry 68/2013 (n 12.1.4). It is the by-product of the production of amino acids (L-Threonine), that by fermentation of bacteria, sp. Corynebacterium glutamicum, on vegetable substrate (corn) turns into this protein concentrate. It has 72% protein and a very low percentage of NPN (non-protein nitrogen), around 1%. Its appearance is micro-granular and its smell is very similar to licorice, which makes it very palatable. Because of its excellent nutritional values and amino-acid profile, it can partially replace fish meal and other high protein materials, like corn gluten meal and soy protein concentrate.
