Intumescent coatings on the steel structure can meet the requirements the DIN4102 fireproofing grade. For polyurethane foams, SHIAN-APP-II is a suitable halogen-free flame retardant. SHIAN-APP-II has an excellent flame retardant effect in the fibre base material such as paper and wood products. Adding 15-20% SHIAN-APP-II to Casting resins based on epoxy resins or unsaturated polyester resins can reach UL 94-V0 grade.

The product has a density of about 1.9 g/cm³, bulk density of about 0.7 g/cm³, viscosity of 100 mPa·s or less at 25°C in 10% suspension, and average particle size of about 15 μm.
