In case of high pH values of soil and water, watersoluble metal salts (such as Iron Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Calcium Nitrate, Magnesium Nitrate, etc.) transform into insoluble metal oxides or metal carbonates, which are not utilized by plants. With its pH regulator and complexation properties, it has a good cation retention capacity. It forms complex structures with metal oxides, hydroxides, and carbonates of metals and alkaline earth metals, creating soluble metal salt complexes under all conditions. This complex structure, easily accessible to the plant, is stable. Calcium, magnesium carbonate, and bicarbonate salts found in the structure of irrigation water cause temporary and permanent hardness, forming a structure known as limescale in pipes.
