Accepta 2051 offers an array of performance benefits where scale problems are encountered in RO systems. Historically scale and deposits build up on the RO membrane leading to poor permeate quality and low permeate production, this coupled with un-planned downtime and increased water and energy costs, the result has been premature RO membrane replacement. Accepta 2051 is a super-threshold agent delivering proven high performance against several problem scales including: Calcium Carbonate Calcium Sulphate Barium Sulphate Strontium Sulphate Calcium Fluoride Silica and Iron Accepta 2051 also stabilises a wide range of super-saturated salt solutions, thereby preventing precipitation on the membrane surface. Application & Dosage Information Accepta 2051 is dosed continuously into the feed water prior to the membrane systems at typical dose rates of 3-6 mg/L depending on water chemistry and system conditions. Our technical consultant will advise you of the correct dosage for your individual system. It is recommended to operate the dosing pump with the highest possible frequency and to adjust the dosage by adjusting the pump stroke to ensure membrane protection. Accepta 2051 has the added advantage of using RO permeate for dilution, with a fresh solution made every 3-5 days.
