It is soluble in ethyl acetate, ethanol, sodium hydroxide solution, sodium bicarbonate solution, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, and chloroform, slightly soluble in benzene, and insoluble in water and gasoline. The lower explosion limit is 21 g/m³. The product functions as an acid accelerator and medium-fast primary accelerator, imparting aging properties when used alone or with DM, TMTD, and other basic accelerators. It is mainly used in the manufacture of tires, tubes, footwear, rubber belts, and hoses. Packaging options include 25 kg plastic woven bags, paper with plastic film bags, kraft paper bags, or jumbo bags, with a recommended maximum storage life of two years under normal conditions.
