The coco peat is supplied as compressed blocks measuring 30 x 30 x 12 cm and weighing about 5 kg, with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5, EC below 0.9 ms/cm, moisture 10 to 15 percent and a break out volume of 65 to 75 litres per block. Machine twisted coir fiber comes in 25 to 30 kg coils with fibre length distribution of 5 to 10 cm (15 percent), 10 to 15 cm (60 percent) and over 15 cm (15 percent), moisture 15 to 17 percent max, dust 2 percent, impurity 3 percent max, 45 to 55 curls per meter and diameter 30 to 35 mm.
