Ghana Teak is a Ghanaian hardwood export company based in Accra and a trading name of Magnago Trading Ltd. We supply teak and West African hardwoods as round logs, square logs and sawn timber, shipped in full container loads FOB from the Port of Tema. PRODUCTS - Teak (Tectona grandis): round logs (mid-girth 50-140 cm), square logs (100x100 to 150x150 mm) and sawn timber cut to size, all in 2300 mm length - Iroko / Odum (Milicia excelsa): exterior joinery, decking, doors - Sapele (Entandrophragma cylindricum): joinery, flooring, furniture - African Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis): furniture, boat building - CITES permit included - Wawa / Obeche (Triplochiton scleroxylon): mouldings, sauna, furniture parts - Niangon (Heritiera utilis): kiln dried, doors and window frames - Azobe / Ekki (Lophira alata): marine works, bridges, sleepers - Okan / Denya (Cylicodiscus gabunensis): heavy construction, decking GRADES AND DRYING Prime, FAS and 1C&S, graded to Ghana Standard GS 1029:2017. Air dried as standard, kiln dried on request. Volumes measured in true cubic metres. QUALITY AND LEGALITY Registered timber exporter with the Timber Industry Development Division (TIDD), registration TIDD/R/1419/26-132. Every shipment is inspected by TIDD at the mill and again at the port of exit. FLEGT-licensed timber available for EU buyers. TERMS - Incoterm: FOB Tema, Ghana (ocean freight quoted separately at the forwarder's rate) - Minimum order: 20 m3 (one 20ft container) - Capacity: up to 500 m3 per month of teak and 300 m3 per month of other species - Lead time: teak logs 3-4 weeks, squares 4-5 weeks, air-dried sawn timber 4-6 weeks, kiln-dried from 7 weeks - Payment: L/C at sight, or T/T 50% advance and 50% against documents The FOB price includes inland haulage, TIDD inspection, export permit, phytosanitary certificate and fumigation, export levy, customs clearance, port charges, container stuffing and the full document set.
