Deyang Bochuang Electrotechnical Equipment Co., Ltd. is based in China. The copper rod line produces low-oxygen glossy copper rod in 8 mm diameter by continuous casting and rolling, using cathode or red copper scrap as feedstock. Red copper scrap must be Grade 1 or above Grade 2. The line includes reverberatory furnaces with 60-ton capacity, a five-wheel casting machine, drive unit, roller shears, straightener, burring unit, shaver, rolling mill, coiler and electrical control system. The aluminum rod CC-R line produces oil-free conductive aluminum rod in 9.5 mm, 12 mm or 15 mm diameters by continuous casting and rolling. The process uses ordinary aluminum ingot and scrap melted in a melting furnace, held in a twin-chamber holding furnace, cast via a 4-wheel casting machine into trapezoid bars of 2400 mm² cross-section, then rolled and coiled. Production capacity is 2.5–5.0 t/h with total installed power of 350 kW (excluding furnace power).
