Abbas Tempering Industry

The tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass to approximately 650°C and then rapidly cooling it, making it four times stronger than ordinary glass. The process uses conduction, convection and radiation heating with uniform air blasting on both surfaces. Laminated glass consists of two plies bonded with interlayers that hold the glass together even when broken. Double glazed units (DGU/IGU) are made of two pieces of glass separated by a spacer bar that creates an airspace, then sealed into an insulated unit.
